Background

Gambling operators in the UK have a legal obligation to protect vulnerable customers, and a commercial imperative to do so efficiently, accurately and transparently.

Department of Trust offers a comprehensive integrated toolset to efficiently identify, assess and mitigate player risk at every stage of the player journey, which we call DoTrust Complete.

About this API

The simple, RESTful API gives operators access to a wide range of real-time assessments from KYC through to income and affordability, with complete flexibility over what data they request, and when.

Unlike traditional “datamarts” who simply provide a stream of raw information the operator has to filter and interpret, DoTrust does the heavy lifting for you. We enable operators to configure their own risk methodology simply, even for the most complex of scenarios, and apply those rules automatically.

We return through the API only the information the operator wants to see and results calibrated to their precise specification.

The data utilised in the DoTrust API is of a highly personal and sensitive nature. You are responsible for all information which you provide to us (such as customer identity) and for the handling of all information returned (which might include, for example, details of personal income, court sanctions and other highly sensitive information).
